We Appreciate Social Workers!

Welch Senior Living’s Allerton House Assisted Living Community in Hingham has been welcoming social workers from many of the councils on aging, rehabilitation and skilled nursing centers, VNAs, and home care agencies with whom they work closely, to honor them during National Social Worker Month. Social workers bring a wealth of knowledge and support to families as they sort out complicated issues and make decisions concerning assisted living that are in the best interests of their loved ones.

A luncheon at the Hingham Assisted Living Community featured a menu of shrimp cocktail, grilled chicken, rice, green beans with almonds, and strawberry cheesecake. Everyone in attendance was given an azalea as a gift of appreciation. All guests toured the community’s stunning renovations.
