The July combination cookout-concert was a hit with residents and their families. Lots of fresh summertime food was on display, including grilled chicken, pasta salad, sausage with peppers and onions, watermelon, beer and wine, and refreshing lemonade. Welch Senior Living Director of Community Relations Leanne Welch attended this year’s Walk for Hospice to benefit Hospice of the South Shore. Held Saturday at Weymouth High School, the Walk is considered the main source of funding for those who need care and are not covered by insurance. The walk event featured musical performances, face painting, and cookie decorating.
