Learn more about a recent webinar, hosted by Senior Helpers, on how seasonal changes can affect those living with dementia and other forms of brain change.
When the seasons change and the amount of daylight decreases, these shifts can disrupt our circadian rhythms and patterns. This can be especially true for those living with dementia and other forms of brain change.
Less daylight can contribute to major changes in sleep patterns and an increase in late-day patterns commonly known as ‘sundowning.’ In this webinar, hosted by Senior Helpers, Teepa Snow addressed helpful and practical ways to cope with these shifts and changes.
