Consumers Turn Out for Vascular Health Presentation

Area residents listened intently to a presentation on peripheral vascular disease at Allerton House at Harbor Park in Hingham from Dr. David Denmark, MD, MPH, FACC, FSCAI, Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Medicine, Brigham and Women’s Harbor Medical Associates, South Shore Hospital, and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. During one point in his presentation Dr. Denmark talked about the advantages of following the Mediterranean Diet, consisting of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, legumes, olive oil plus fish and poultry to maintain or improve vascular health.
