Residents and staff at Allerton House at Harbor Park observed Veterans Day with a tribute to veterans currently living in the community. In addition to honoring all who served and who still serve their country, this year Veterans Day – or Armistice Day – commemorated the centennial of the agreement to end the First World War. The day’s events honored 13 resident veterans who had served the United States and Italy. Beacon Hospice presented the “We Honor Veterans” ceremony.
During the day of remembrance at Allerton House, Beacon Hospice presented each resident veteran with a grateful acknowledgment of service.
